Lipisol™ is a drug delivery technology targeted for poorly soluble/bioavailable, lipophilic drugs having a log P of 1 to 5. The system uses core lipids based on the physicochemical properties of both lipids and drugs. Further, the technology focuses on the physiological considerations to maximize the desired outcome. The final dosage form is either a soft or hard gelatin or non-gelatin capsules with liquid fill. The core technology patents have been granted until 2018.
